When producing AAC( Autoclaved aerated concrete) blocks and AAC panels, aluminium paste needs a certain alkalinity to produce gas. When the alkalinity of aluminium paste is not enough, which affects the normal gas production, it is necessary to add regulator to increase the alkalinity of aluminium paste to speed up the gas production speed. When the aluminium paste produces gas too fast, it is necessary to add a regulator to slow down the gas production rate.
The conditioning materials used are sodium hydroxide（NaOH）, sodium carbonate（Na₂CO₃）, sodium silicate（Na2SiO3·9H2O）, gypsum and ferrous sulphate（Na2SiO3·9H2O）.
